PORTALES ? Eastern New Mexico University has named eight athletes as team representatives of its 2013-14 academic athletes of the year list.

One of those name was Beth Blind who participated in women?s track and field and women?s cross country.
Blind, a sophomore animal and dairy science major from Kennedale ,Texas, earned spots on the conference?s all-academic team in both track and cross country. She had two second-place finishes during the track season, one in the 5,000 and the other in the 1,500.
