Pre-Kindergarten registration will be held on Tuesday, August 5 at the Kennedale ISD Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment Building, 140 W. Kennedale Pkwy, next door to Delaney Elementary. The time is 8:30 ? 11:00 & 1:00 ? 3:00.
Four year olds must meet certain qualifications to be able to enroll. {{more}}A child must be 4 years old on/before September 1, 2014 and must be either unable to speak and comprehend the English language (Oral proficiency instrument will be administered) OR the family income falls within federal guidelines for free & reduced lunch program (or receives Food Stamps) OR is homeless OR the child of active duty military personnel or injured or killed while serving OR is a foster child (CPS placement).
To register the following information must be provided:
- Child?s birth certificate
- Child?s Social Security Card
- Child?s current shot record
- Paystubs for the month of July OR current Food Stamp Verification (if qualifying by income)-needed for everyone 18 yrs. of age or older. If unemployed, need termination letter or denial of unemployment benefits
- Department of Defense ID card (if qualifying as military)
- CPS placement paperwork (if qualifying as foster child)
- Proof of residency ( June or July electric or gas bill or leasing agreement)
- Parent/Guardians Driver?s License or State Issued ID card (w/ picture)
