Fellowship Academy Lady Mustangs are headed to the playoffs

With a victory over Fort Worth Calvary, the Lady Mustang Varsity Basketball team of Fellowship Academy in Kennedale secured 2nd place in TAPPS 3A district 2 and earned a playoff berth. {{more}}

 

The Lady Mustangs finished the regular season with a record of 21-10 and a district record of 9-3.
In the TABC weekly rankings, the Lady Mustangs have moved up to 15th in the Small School Private Rankings.

 

They are coached by Head Coach Julie White and Assistant Coach, Shelby Clark.

 

“These girls fought with heart and passion to secure this position and it is well deserved, said Girls’ Athletic Director Janea Hassett. She added, “What an incredible honor for these girls and Fellowship Academy.”

 

As of now, Fellowship will host a playoff game Friday night, February 20, at Kennedale Junior High School @ 6:30 pm.
