The Kennedale City of Council has set two public hearings on the proposed 2015-16 city budget. The first meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday. September 9, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 405 Municipal Drive, Kennedale, Texas 76060. {{more}}
The meeting will be held for the purpose of receiving community input on the budget. The FY2015-2016 Proposed Budget can be downloaded at Kennedale

or you can view a hardcopy in the City Secretary?s Office.All interested residents are encouraged to attend and express their views.The second meeting on the proposed budget and tax rate is scheduled for September 17.
The proposed budget will raise more total property taxes than last year?s budget by $331,131 or 7.70%, and of that amount, $197,990 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
