Kendall Vondra, KHS Class 2016, had a record setting freshman season playing volleyball last season at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. {{more: Find out more …}}
As a freshman, she led the team in assists with 1071 and placed #2 in the all-time single season records. Also on the all-time single season record list, Kendall is now #3 with assists per set (9.74) and #10 in attempts.
Twice last season, she was named the Great American Setter of the Week.
Vondra was a standout for the Kennedale Lady Kats. She was named the MVP for District 7-4A in 2015 and was designated the All-District Setter in 2014. She was also named to the All-State Academic Team her senior year.
Volleyball finished in 7th place last year in the 12 team Great American Conference with a record of 12-17, 8-8. The team will begin play August 31 on the road against Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas.
