Triple Threat Plus! Class auditions for serious young theatre students ages 12-18 are being held by Casa Manana on Saturday, August 17. Auditions will be held 10:00 am ?1:00 pm by appointment only.Class Description: Triple Threat Plus! is a comprehensive musical theatre course that features training in acting, singing, dancing, and the musical theatre business. Each student?s current ability in acting, {{more}} singing, and dancing will be assessed by a professional team who will create an individualized portfolio containing a development action plan. Professional musical theatre artists lead students through specialized topics such as: Stage Voice, Tap/Jazz Technique, Song Interpretation, Building a Character, Sight Reading, Auditioning, and much more. The year will conclude with a final project integrating acting, singing, and dancing.?Audition Requirements: Students will be required to audition in all three areas of voice, acting, and dance. Voice and Acting require prepared materials. (see below) Bring sheet music for vocal audition. An accompanist will be provided. Acting:30-second monologue. Students should choose a work that best shows off their skills and personality.?Dance: Students need to bring flat dance shoes (jazz or ballet) and will learn a short combination.
