Superlative award ? Jenna Webb? “Co-Catcher of the Year”?
- Jenna Webb is a three time all-district player earning 1st team honors in 2016 and 2017 and 7-4A Catcher of the Year in 2018. She shared this year’s honor with Kaitlynn Blue from Mineral Wells.?
First Team selections?- Megan Calhoun, Alyssa Bradberry & Mary Grace Howard??
- Mary Grace Howard?(Senior) has earned first team or better all-district recognition every year since she was a freshman. Last year, she was named the “Offensive Player of the Year” while leading the team with 21 hits and 27 RBIs. She has signed to play for North Texas Central College.??
- Alyssa Bayberry (Senior) is another four year all-district player for the Lady Kats, earning recognition in 2015, 2016, and 2017 as well as this year. She, along with Howard as freshmen in 2015, were part of the team that went 23-4 and was a 4A regional finalist.?
- Megan Calhoun (Junior)?is a three year all-district player. She earned Pitcher of the Year in her freshman year and 1st Team honors in her sophomore year after hitting .611 and being the only Kat that year to get a hit in every game.?
The Lady Kats also earned their 25th trip to post season play this past year.
