The Kennedale Animal Services and Spay Neuter Network are doing a free clinic to spay and neuter cats for Kennedale residents on Thurday, January 10, 2019.??This is not for dogs! {{more: continue …}}?Please bring your cat to the mobile clinic bus in the City Hall parking lot in a cage/crate/live trap to have your cat spayed or neutered. This includes free rabid shots for those cats who are being spayed or neutered.?This free spay/neuter clinic will be open to Kennedale residents only. You must provide valid drivers license with a current Kennedale address. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. Your cat will be ready for pick up after 3:00 p.m. the same day.?Site is located at Kennedale City Hall, 405 Municipal Drive, Kennedale, TX 76060.
In addition, traps will be set out the night prior to the clinic in densely populated feral cat communities. Cats will be spayed or neutered, ear tipped, and vaccinated for rabies before being released back into the area where they were captured. This is a proven method called TNR (trap, neuter, release) for helping to control feral cat populations.
