The Wildcats (4-2, 2-0) are a young team, experience-wise. They can be very bad one moment and seemingly unbeatable the next. But with four games left in district play, they should be able to arrive at the end of the season battle tested and playoff ready.?
Tonight?s game is against the Lake Worth Bullfrogs, a familiar team for the Wildcats. Currently the Frogs have a 3-3 record and are 1-1 in district play.

In district play, Lake Worth has a loss to Benbrook 63-21 and a won against Diamond Hill-Jarvis 49-13. Lake Worth started the season with a 55-21 win over 5A FTW Northside, a 36-0 loss to 5A Joshua, a win over 3A Boyd 28-27 and then a loss to 4A Bridgeport 25-7. All in all, it is mixed bag with Lake Worth who seems to be looking for consistency ? something familiar to Kennedale coaches this year.

Kennedale is the favorite ? it?s a home game, it is homecoming plus Kennedale is on a roll. The Cats will be facing a team that will air it out as much as it will run. So far this season, Lake Worth has accumulated 952 yards by passing and 967 yard running.

Sophomore QB Caleb Welch has a 68% completion record with 8 TDs along with 4 interceptions. His favorite targets are: senior Mason Ryan with 22 receptions, 191 yards and 1 TD; senior Will Thompson with 18 receptions for 243 yards and 1 TD; and, senior Isaac Ehrich with 12 receptions for 191 yards and 2 TDs.

On the ground senior RB Isaac Ehrich has 47 carries for 454 yards at a 9.7 average and 4 TDs. Sophomore Tremaine Forrest has 62 carries for 320 yards at a 5.2 average with 6 TDs. The Frogs have only two fumbles so far, losing 1 and have thrown 6 interceptions. They are 22/22 in point after kicks and 2/2 in field goals.

Defensively Lake Worth has recorded 321 tackles (53.5 per game) with 26 for losses. The Frogs have 2 sacks, 4 interceptions, recovered 4 fumbles and blocked 1 punt. Senior #3 Weang Weang leads in tackles with 52 followed by senior #19 Isaiah Jackson with 44, junior #51 Davion Haynes with 39 and freshman #5 Nathaniel Session with 28.
