Fort Worth Police Officer Garrett W. Hull went to be with his Lord on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the age of 41. Funeral services to celebrate Garrett’s life were held at Christ Chapel Bible Church, on September 21, 2018. {{more: continue …}}?A resident of Granbury, Garrett followed in a long Hull family tradition of service to Fort Worth. He was the grandson of HA “Salty” Hull and the nephew of Cordell Hull, who were members of the Texas House of Representatives.?Garrett dedicated his career to the Fort Worth Police Department. During his 17 years in the FWPD, he served in specialized tactical units including the Special Response Team, Narcotics Division, and Tactical Intelligence Division. He was also loaned to the DEA and worked closely with the FBI. He will be remembered for his dedication and sacrifice in the line of duty.?An avid outdoorsman, Garrett especially enjoyed country music and loving on his dogs. He was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. Family was undoubtedly the center of his life. Any friend of Garrett’s knew he had their back in spite of his often relentless teasing. Even with his imposing presence, Garrett will forever be remembered for his kind eyes and tender heart.?He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Hull.?He is survived by wife, Sabrina Hull; daughters, Jordan and Tristen; parents, Dalyne and James Hull; sisters Jami Kern and husband, Jason, Natalie Aten and husband, Matthew; nephews, Zachary and Andrew; niece, Abigail Grace.???
