Gwendoline Morgan Stinson was born June 23, 1923 in Cardiff Wales U.K. Her parents were David and Jane Morgan. She was one of six children and all of her brothers and sisters preceded her in death. {{more: Read More …}}
She served in the British Army in WW II where she met the love of her life, Harold Stinson (U.S. Army) at a USO dance. They were married in September 1943. They moved to Arlington after the war and lived there until Harold’s untimely death in an auto accident in 1978.
She later moved to Kennedale where she enjoyed painting, gardening, traveling and arguing politics with her two sons (arguments she never lost). Gwendoline was a resident at Pecan Manor where she received outstanding love and care meanwhile her time there.
She is survived by sons David Stinson, his wife Lynne, Norman Stinson and his wife Laura, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation: 3-5pm on July 9, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral Service: will be held at 11am on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Moore Memorial Gardens.
