John Dan Scott, 76, of Wichita Falls, died on Friday, February 24, 2017. {{more: Continue …}}
Dan was born on February 16, 1941, to Archie Brownlee Scott and Mary Gertrude Self of Pecos.
Dan was a lover of History, Archeology, Paleontology, Geology, and Theology. He treated everyone he met with kindness and respect, regardless of his or her station in life.
Dan is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sheila Marie Paschal; his children, Jennifer Irene, Mary Diane, Daniel Kevin, Mary Elizabeth, and Andrew Kyle; his stepmother, Mary Margaret; his sisters, Kate, Doris, and Mary Claire; and his 13 grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robin.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2017, in Lunn?s Colonial Chapel in Wichita Falls. Casual dress, blue jeans encouraged. Guests in suits and ties will be seated in the parking lot.
