John was born November 24, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas. He passed away March 16, 2015. He will be laid to rest at the Smithfield Cemetery in North Richland Hills on Saturday April 4th in a private memorial service. {{more}}
John grew up in Kennedale and graduated from Arlington High School.
He served his country in the Armed Forces in the Army where he was a sergeant. He later was a carpenter by trade. John’s religious persuasion was Pentecostal.
The past few years he has resided in Ruidoso, where he loved the mountains.
He was a gentle soul that never met a stranger. He wrote music and poetry and he loved to sing, cook and entertain.
He was very loved by his family and will be forever missed.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Francis Reamy and Anna Reamy Johnson.
He is survived by Hattie James (significant other), of Ruidoso, NM; daughter, Melissa Reamy of Ft Worth; son, Matthew Reamy of Ft Worth; siblings, Susan Daves of Ft. Worth; Don Mann of Ruidosa, NM; Cindee Reamy Plunk of Crowley; Ed Reamy of Burleson; Pink Sunshine of Grapevine; Robin Johnson of Longview; Ranee Johnson of Pensacola, Florida and many beloved nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
