Jonathan Louis Bryan, 47, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at his home. {{more: Continue …}}?He was originally from Kennedale, Tx., and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Jonathan was a member of the VFW and had worked as a prison guard at Silverdale Workhouse. He was a member of The Rock Metropolitan Community Church.?He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Michael Bryan and his partner, Kenneth Brian Carroll.?Survivors include his mother, Rebecca Murray; step-father, Gary Black; brother, Sean Black; two sisters, Jeanette Clark and Lori Hardaway.?The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tela Smith for her loving care.?Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with Bryce Current officiating. Burial will be in Tyner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.?
