Junior High Cheer team prepared for this year last summer

Cheer Kennedale Junior High geared up last summer for a busy year supporting Kennedale?s Athletic Programs. {{more}}

 

This past summer, they spent weeks honing their skills in tumbling, cheering and stunting for games and pep rallies.

 

At NCA Speed Camp, a stunt group consisting of Kolbi Sipho, Peyton Malone, Tristen Hull, and Rachel Prebe went up against a high school freshman stunt group to compete for the title of Top Gun.

 

After hitting many advance stunts, the stunt group went on to win the title.

 

Several girls from the squad also went on to become nominated for a coveted NCA All-American title. Kolbi Sipho and Tristen Hull successfully completed the tryout process and became NCA All-Americans which highlights their cheering skills and put them in an elite group of cheerleaders across the country.

 

The 7th grade Cheer Team will be at the next home football game next Tuesday, October 21. Games start at 5 p.m. (White Squad) and 6:30 p.m. (Green Squad).

 

The 8th grade Cheer Team will be at the next home football game Tuesday, October 28, 8th grade

White Team will play at 5 p.m. and the 8th grade Green Team will play at 6:30 p.m.

 

Cheer Kennedale Junior High will be at volleyball games, basketball games through the season.
