KHS Aquilar signs with Oklahoma Wesleyan

T.J. Aguilar, senior catcher/outfielder for the Kennedale High School Wildcat Baseball team, signed his letter of intent to play for Oklahoma Wesleyan University next year. {{more}}
 
Surrounded by Wildcat players and Head Coach Paul Trantham and Assistant Coach Richard Earle, T.J. made it official on Thursday, November 20.
 
Aquilar will get a chance to play for OKWU Eagles who are coming off a record breaking year last year. Oklahoma Wesleyan owned an NAIA-best regular season 52 wins at 52-6. OKWU, which opened the season last year unranked, finished at #3 in the last regular season coaches poll for 2014.
 
The Eagles received an automatic berth into the National Championship Opening Round field after winning the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title and then earned its first bid ever to the NAIA College World series.
 
The Eagles made it to the semi-round before losing to #2 Lewis-Clark University out of Iowa.
 
Oklahoma Wesleyan finished the year with 58-8 record.
