KHS Choir students had a successful meet at UIL Solo/Ensemble Competition. Eight out of nine soloists and both ensemble groups received Superior (1) ratings, the highest possible.The following students received Excellent to Superior ratings on their solos: {{more}}

- Jeannette Acosta, Superior(1) rating
- Alyssa Brannon, Superior(1) rating
- Amy Tate, Superior(1) rating
- Richard Bui, Superior(1) rating
- Katelynn Goss, Superior(1) rating
- Nikki Porter, Superior(1) rating
Both of the ensembles received Superior ratings.
- Ensemble #1 – Katelynn Goss, Alyssa Brannon, and Amy Tate.
- Ensemble #2 – Nikki Porter, Jeannette Acosta, and Victoria Buendia.
Six of the students will be taking their solos and ensembles to state competition in May:
