Kalyne Daniels, a KHS Senior 2019, played in the 1A-4A Texas Girls Coaches Association All Star Game on July 10, 2018 at Lamar High School. {{more: continue …}}?Kalyne’s TGCA Red team won 78-56. Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) each year selects just 24 players from Class
1A, 2A, 3A and 4A to play on the small school all-star teams. Kaylne was one of
the 24 honored (just 9 were from Class 4A).
All-State as well as All-Star …?Besides
being named to the All-Star team, Kaylne as a junior was a Texas Girls Coaching Association
(TGCA) All-State player, a Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC)
All-Region I player and she was named to the first team as a District 7-4A
All-District player. Her sophomore year she was named as Newcomer of the Year
in District 7-4A.
Last
season, Kennedale went 21-17 and ran the floor in district play with a 12-0
record. They finished the playoffs at 2-1 with a loss in the regional quarterfinals against the number two team in the state, Glen Rose.
