It was hands down decision, the Kennedale LadyKats went 27-2, 8-0 this year, outscoring opponents 160-14, rolling through district play and the playoffs undefeated for the second year in a row and capturing the first two state titles for the Texas 4A girls soccer conference, formed just last year. {{more:[Full Story]}}
the numbers are amazing …No matter how you look at it, the numbers are amazing. Kennedale has won two state titles; lost to only one 4A opponent in 2 years while tying another; compiled a three year record of 71-10-3 while capturing three straight district titles (their first was in the old combined 4A-5A division); and, according to MaxPreps, ended this year with a national rank of 188 out of all high school soccer teams across the country.
The honors rolled in after the Kennedale LadyKats won their second consecutive state soccer title including all-state, all-academic, state all-tournament, all-region, DFW Super team, all-district and coaching honors.returning 12 All-District players …
The team will lose 6 seniors but will be returning 12 All-District players including 9 who were either 1st Team All-District or a superlative winner. Two returnees earned spots on the State 4A All-tournament Team while another was an All-Region player. The future remains bright for the LadyKats from Kennedale.
