At least thirty-seven Kennedale High School students, who had given up their limited free time to practice and study for the UIL academic contest, came home district champs this past week. Seventeen will advance to the Regional Meet at Texas Tech University April 24th and 25th. {{more}}
The strength was in the KHS teams where 10 teams won the top two spots in the different events. Overall, there were 14 firsts, 13 seconds, 8 thirds and 21 fourth and fifth places finishes.
