KHS offers a variety of sports camps

Kennedale High School offers a variety of sports camps this summer including archery, basketball, baseball, soccer and strength conditioning. {{more: READ MORE …}}

Each camp has its own schedules, age/grade requirements and cost. The following are the camps with dates, cost and application information.

Wildcat School of Baseball Hitting Camp

Goal: Develop the art of hitting with emphasis on contact oriented swing

Place: Kennedale High School Baseball Turf Room (old field house directly behind the high school)

 

Target group: 2016-17 (current) Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Date/Times:

• Session 1 Ages 5 to 10 (K-5 2016-17 school year): Mon-Wed, June 5?7; 6pm ? 7pm
• Session 2 Ages 11-14 (6th-8th 2016-17 school year): Mon – Wed, June 5?7; 7:30pm-8:30pm

Cost: $30 ($10 per day)

Baseball Summer Hitting Camp

 

LadyKat & Wildcat

Soccer Camp

Goal: Teaching the

fundamentals of soccer and encouraging a love of the game.

Location: Kennedale High School Wildcat Stadium

Target Group: Ages

7-15 (male and female)

Thursday, June 5-8; 6 ? 8 pm

Cost: $60 by May

Lady Kats Basketball

 

Goal: Learn and expand basketball fundamentals

 

Place: Kennedale High School

 

Target Group: 2017-18 (incoming) 2nd – 9th graders

 

Dates/Times:

• In-coming 2nd ? 6th grades: Monday, June 12 ? Thursday, June 15; 8:30am -11:00am
• In-coming 7th-9th grades: Monday, June 12 – Thursday June 15; 12pm ? 3:00pm

Cost: $60 before June 5th, $75 after June 5th

Kat Summer Camp 17

Place: Wildcat Fieldhouse, 901 Wildcat Way, Kennedale

 

Target Group: 2017-18 (incoming) 6th – 12th grades

 

Dates/Times:

• Mon-Thurs Weekly, starting June 12 (except July 3rd) ending July 27th
• Incoming 9th-12th graders, 7 ? 9 am
• Incoming 6th ? 8th graders, 9 ? 11 am

Cost: $25 per week

Camp 2017

Goal: Increase basketball skills, increase knowledge of the game and develop self-confidence and a positive mental attitude

 

Place: Kennedale High School, 901 Wildcat Way, Kennedale

 

Target Group: 2017-18 (incoming) 3rd – 9th grades

 

Dates/Times

• Session 1: Incoming 7th ? 9th graders; Mon-Fri, June 19-23; 1pm ? 4pm
• Session 2: Incoming 3rd ? 6th graders; Mon-Fri; June 26-30; 8:30am-11:30am

Cost: $50 deadline June 12 ? Late $65

Kennedale Archery Camp

Goal: introducing students to the lifetime sport of archery by teaching the fundamentals and techniques for consistent shot placement and learning the protocol and rules for safety in target shooting and hunting.

 

Target Group: 2017-18 (incoming) 1st – 12th grades

 

Dates/Times:

• Session 1 Grades 7-12 (incoming): Mon-Fri, June 26-30; 9 am ? noon
• Session 2 Grades 1-6 (incoming): Mon-Frid, June 26-30; 1 ? 4 pm

Location: Kennedale ISD Cheer Gym next to Delaney Elementary

 

Cost: $50 for 15 hours of instruction

Target Group: Grades 3-12 (2017-18 incoming)

• 9th Grade – Mon-Thurs, July 25-27; 1-4 pm
• JV/V – Mon-Thurs, July 25-27; 9-12 noon
