All Kennedale ISD Web sites have received a digital makeover to bring great improvement to the district and campus sites. The new design and management uses the Blackboard Engage web software content management system.Following a comprehensive design and training schedule, the Web sites went live July 1, 2013. The technology department and public relations coordinator formed a Web site Redesign Committee and have structured the redesign project based on input from teachers, parents, {{more}}administrators and students to make the Web sites as user-friendly and efficient as possible. The committee discussed the aspects of the district and campus Web sites that worked well in addition to things that needed improvement.?Among the areas for improvement:
- Header (navigation bar) needed to be consistent among all Web sites
- More consistency at lower level pages
- Easier navigability
- Cleaner, more updated look
- Mobile-friendly design and functionality
