Congratulations to the 36 Wildcats who earned All-Region Honors at the Alvarado Regional Band Competition. Once again, KJHS placed more students on the All-Region Band than any other school in the competition.

30 KJHS millionaires have join the club …
 
KJHS currently has 30 Accelerated Reader Millionaires. Two students, James Irwin (7th Grade) and Eaden Bowman (7th Grade), have read over 4 million words. Congratulations to the 4 students and teachers who have already reached Platinum status and to the 26 students and teachers who have reaced Gold status.

Congratulations to Ms. Maria Gross for being named KJHS October 2016 Teacher of the Month. In past years, the KJHS Teacher of the Month was selected by students only. This year, parents, students, and KJHS faculty and staff members all contribute in the selection process.
