Last week was Anti-Bully Week at KJHS. During lunches, the KJHS Student Council encouraged others to take the Anti-Bully Pledge using the theme “Buddies not Bullies.” {{more}} The pledge read:
?I think being mean stinks! I won?t watch someone get picked on because I?m an UPSTANDER, not a bystander!I CARE, I can help change things, and I can be a Leader! It in my world, there are no bullies allowed.Bullying is bad, bullying is hurtful, bullying bothers me! I know that sticking up for someone is the right thing to do!I believe that everyone should be able to enjoy our school equally, feel safe, secure, and accepted regardless of gender, popularity, athletic ability, intelligence, religion or race.I won?t stand by, I will stand up because I pledge to be a BUDDY, not a bully!”Students and teacher of the month …
