The following reports were in addition to on-going investigations by the Kennedale Polic Department. Incident Reports …
 
09/07 – Abandoned/ Found Property – 1300 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 1:05 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for an expired license plate. During the interview of the driver, it was determined that he had no driver?s license or current registration proof. The driver, a male, also had an active arrest warrant out of Arlington. The male was arrested for the warrant and was transported to jail for booking. During the vehicle inventory prior to impoundment, a driver?s license and a debit card, neither of which were issued to the arrestee, were found and seized for safe keeping. The items were placed in property and evidence until the owners can be located.
 
09/07 – Vehicle Burglary – 1300 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 8:21 a.m. a victim reported that his concrete saw was stolen from the bed of his work truck. The saw was unsecured on the bed and was taken by two males in a black Honda 4 door. The truck was parked at a work site, an open business, and the offense was witnessed by the victim who was unable to respond fats enough to stop the theft.
 
09/07 – Assault by Contact – At 7:40 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A mother and daughter, both adults, had gotten into an argument over a personal matter when they began to physically fight. Due to the mutually combative situation, both were charged with assault by contact.
 
09/08 – Deadly Conduct – 600 block Hillside Drive: At 3:03 a.m. officers responded to a report of several gunshots in a neighborhood. A resident stated that she was awakened by several gunshots in the street outside of her residence. Responding officers located several shell casings but no vehicles or structures were found to be damaged. It is unknown what the suspect(s) shot at.
 
09/08 – Burglary – 1200 block E. Kennedale Parkway: At 1:25 a.m. officers were dispatched to a burglar alarm at a business. Upon arrival the front door was found to be unsecure but no one was on site. The manager responded and determined that a safe had been removed from the business. The safe contained checks and cash.
 
09/08 – Sexual Assault – At 3:06 p.m. an officer responded to JPS Hospital for a sexual assault report. A female victim was reporting that she was assaulted sexually by a male acquaintance two days earlier. The assault occurred at the victim?s home.
 
09/10 – Abandoned Vehicle – 700 block N. Dick Price Road: At 11:29 p.m. an officer observed a 2005 Ford truck parked in a traffic lane. There was no one around the vehicle at the time of discovery. The vehicle had damage consistent with a stolen vehicle but was not listed as stolen when impounded. The vehicle was removed to restore normal traffic flow.
