The Kennedale Police Department reported the following 8 incidents for the one week period May 5, 2019 through May 11, 2019. The reports included fraudulent use/possession of personal information, hit & run, burglaryDWI, and missing person.?{{more: continue …}}

5/06 – Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information – Chappellet Street: At 8:34 a.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) had been accessing his credit report with suspicious inquiries. The victim believes that his identity was stolen due to a workplace burglary at his business in Fort Worth. During the burglary a number of documents were taken with the victim?s personal information on it. Because the credit intrusion can?t be verified as related to the burglary, Fort Worth police instructed the victim to file a report with the city police of the victim?s residence.

5/06 – Hit and Run Accident – N. Little School Road: At 9:30 p.m. a victim reported that his Honda CRV had been struck by an unknown vehicle while parked in front of a business. The vehicle was struck by a blue pickup truck that left the area after the collision. A witness gave a statement to the reporting officer.

5/07 – Burglary of Vehicle – North Road: At 6:47 p.m. an officer received a report of a vehicle burglary. Unknown person(s) had entered an unlocked Mitsubishi 2 door and damaged the steering column.

5/07 – Application for Mental Detention and Observation -? At 7:31 p.m. officers responded to an emotionally disturbed person. An adult female was acting and speaking erratically and appeared to be having a metal episode of some type. She was detained and transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency evaluation.

5/08 – Possession Control Substance – Dick Price Road: At 12:39 a.m. an officer observed a suspicious vehicle in a business parking lot. The vehicle left the lot at a high rate of speed and the officer was able to overtake and stop the vehicle on Dick Price Road. During the interview with the driver, the officer was able to determine that the driver had active arrest warrants issued out of Kennedale. Subsequent to his arrest, the driver was found to be in possession of heroin and cocaine as well as related paraphernalia. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to jail for booking.

5/08 – Incident (other) – N. Little School Road: At 2:00 a.m. an officer observed a suspicious vehicle driving through a residential neighborhood. The officer followed the vehicle for a distance and stopped it for an equipment violation. The vehicle contained two non-resident adult males who could not explain what they were doing in the area. Officers located tools inside the vehicle that could be used to commit burglary along with roofing materials. Officers were unable to identify any vehicle or structural burglaries in the area where the vehicle had first been seen. After further interview the males were released with no further action.

5/09 – Abandoned Vehicle – Pine Meadows Drive: At 3:29 p.m. an officer responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle blocking a residential driveway. A green Ford van was observed with a temporary license plate. A check of area residences did not identify an owner. The vehicle was impounded for safe-keeping.

5/11 – Missing Person (Juvenile) – At 7:04 a.m. an officer received a report of a missing juvenile female. The 16 year old female had left her home at 10:30 p.m. the night before. She had not been seen since and was believed to possibly be in the company of an adult male friend.
