11/17 – Abandoned/Found Property – 200 block of Valley Lane: At 9:15 a.m. a business owner reported finding an abandoned girl’s mountain bicycle behind his business. The bike did not show to be stolen and was taken to property storage for security.
11/17 – Theft $50 to $500 – 1000 block of Swiney Hiett Road: At 5:42 p.m. a victim reported that a package was stolen from his front porch in the afternoon hours. The package, taken between 4:10 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., contained items purchased on-line. The items were valued at $113.00.
11/17 – Vehicle Burglary – 6700 block of Oak Crest Drive: At 9:54 p.m. a victim reported a vehicle burglary that occurred during a church service. The vehicle, which was not locked, contained two bags of groceries given to the victim and his wife by the church as well as two black bags containing personal items such as diabetes supplies and a credit card. The victim was advised to cancel the card as soon as possible.
11/17 – Theft – $500 to $1,500 – 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 9:05 p.m. a victim reported that her cell phone was taken by an unknown male. The victim stated that the male and three others were in a vehicle and drove up to the gas pump where she was stopped. The male asked to borrow her cell phone to make a call due to car trouble. The male took the phone and walked back to the car. He got into the vehicle and then left. The phone was valued at $648.00.
11/18 – Hit and Run Accident – 100 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:00 p.m. a victim reported that her vehicle was struck by a black SUV while driving on Kennedale Parkway. The suspect vehicle was attempting to cross the parkway as the victim was driving west. The SUV did not stop and the victim could not provide a license plate number. The damage was minor.
11/18 – Burglary – 4000 block of Danny Drive: At 2:46 p.m. a victim reported that his home was burglarized while he was staying in another location due to health issues. Entry was made by forcing open the rear door. Items taken included a shotgun, jewelry, computer, and cash. The stolen items were valued at $2,955.00
