The Kennedale Lady Kat Volleyball varsity team has now moved to 4-0 in first round action in District 7-4A after defeating Castleberry last Friday night. {{more: continue … }}
Castleberry which had been undefeated in early play just behind Kennedale stretched the Kats to the limit before Kennedale took the final set winning the match 3-2.
Castleberry fell to 2-1 in district play with a 7-13 overall record. Kennedale is now 10-22 overall and 4-0 in district play.
The Lady Kats will host Diamond Hill-Jarvis today, Tuesday, September 26 with the varsity game set for 6 p.m. in the Wildcat gym. Diamond Hill has won one game in district and lost two.
Friday, KHS Homecoming weekend, the Kats will complete the first round of district play against Lake Worth at home in the Wildcat gym. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m. Lake Worth is listed at 1-2 in district play.
