Kelly Jean Spielman, 33, passed on to her heavenly home Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.?

Service: A celebration of Kelly’s life will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Park Springs Bible Church, 5515 Park Springs Blvd., Arlington.

Kelly was born May 15, 1980, in Mankato, Minn. {{more}}She was raised by her loving parents, Charles J. Roozen and Jean Roozen.?

Kelly was a graduate of Bloomington Jefferson High School where she was a member of the swim team, played the violin and was a proud member of its marching band flag corps. Growing up, she enjoyed spending time at her grandparents’ cabin in Crosslake, Minn., where she would boat and swim, some of her favorite pastimes.?

Kelly had two passions in life: her family and helping others. She loved being a mother more than anything and made her children her priority. Her giant heart and love for others was spread onto her children, whom she raised to have the same sense of family importance and love for others. Kelly was loved by many and never met a stranger. She was always thinking of and helping others. An active volunteer in many charities helping other families in her community, Kelly was also a friend to all animals, taking in strays and fostering them until new homes were found.

Kelly discovered later in life her love for photography and capturing a family’s legacies through her photos. She was always determined to capture that special shot that would encompass the true essence of each family and was hugely successful at this. She loved being behind the lens and was an incredibly talented photographer.?

Her smile was infectious and her grace and strong character will be remembered by all who knew her. She was a passionate mother, loving wife, daughter, sister, doting aunt, compassionate friend, creative entrepreneur and fiercely devoted to family and her children’s happiness. Kelly had a very strong conviction in her faith and a deep connection to the Lord.?

Kelly was preceded in death by her beautiful daughter, Skyla Fisher; father, Charles J. Roozen; and many other family members in heaven.

Survivors: Her loving husband, PJ Spielman; son, Riley Spielman; mother, Jean Roozen; brothers and sister, Sean and Madeline Roozen and Charles J Roozen II; and numerous cousins, nephews and other family.
