KHS Jasmine Alli featured in article
Jasmine Alli, a senior at Kennedale High School and a volleyball and track field star, was featured in a recent Star Telegram story. {{more: CONTINUE …}}
Alli is currently ranked #2 in the shot put in Texas in Class 4A. Her personal best is 43-5.75.
Rick Mauch in the Star Telegram reported that as a freshman, Alli won district championships in shot put and discus. She again won shot put as a junior, advancing to regional competition, also reaching area competition in the discus.
This season, focusing more on the shot put, she won a third district title and has her sights set on Austin and her first appearance at state.
Alli, a versatile athlete, played basketball as a freshman and sophomore before a season injury took her in a new direction. She also played volleyball in high school, making All-District in 2014 and 2015 as well as being named All-District Blocker this year in District 7-4A.Alli has also made the ALL-District Volleyball Academic team the past three year as well as the All-State Academic team this year.Read the full story @ dfwVarsity
