Kennedale Basketball plays last regular season home game

If you want to see the Wildcats and Lady Kats play at home this is your last chance. Both teams play Lake Worth Friday night. It is also Senior Night for both teams. The Varsity Lady Kats play at 6:30 in the Cage and the Varsity Wildcats follow at 8:00 p.m.

Last week on Tuesday night, Kennedale put a stop on the Springtown Porcupines (11-14, 4-2) by a score of 93-58. Faster than you say wildcat, Springtown was down 27-15 in the first quarter and 58-30 at half. Everyone on the bench scored.
 
Leading the scoring was Aundre Jackson (22) followed by V.J. Hughes (18), Ty Charles (14), Daemar Jones (12), Trystan Carr (6), Kelon Doss (6), Brandon Conwright (5), Colton Otts (3), Kole Hohenberger (2), David Lars (2) Blake Ingram (2) and Dominque Doss (1).
 
Friday night the Wildcats played a severely outmatched Fort Worth Diamond Hill-Jarvis team (2-18, 0-6) winning 101-16. Scoring in that game were Jackson (21), Jones (14), Hughes (11), Carr (10), Lars (9), K. Doss (8), Charles (6), Hohenberger (6), Otts (6), D Doss (4), Ingram (4) and Conwright (2).
 
As the second round of district play started this past Tuesday night, Kennedale assured itself to a play-off spot in the district by beating the Castleberry Lions (5-12, 1-5) by a score of 93-60.
 
Friday night the Wildcats once again face the Lake Worth Bullfrogs (8-14, 2-4) who are battling for the fourth playoff spot. Kennedale leads the district, followed by Mineral Wells (14-8, 5-1) in 2nd and then Springtown in 3rd followed by Lake Worth.
 
After Friday night, the Wildcats have three games on the road before finishing the regular season and starting their playoff run. Come support the Cats Friday and fill the Cage.
