The annual Texas Independence Parade is set to step off March 1, 2014. The parade itself will start at 1 p.m from the Kennedale Junior High Parking lot. Click Here to see the full parade route. But, the day?s activities will start at 11 p.m. and run until 5 p.m. in Town Center Plaza.
 

Last year?s event was the largest to date with hundreds of people lining the parade route watching 33 parade entries{{more}}that included horses of all sizes, fire trucks, marching band, model cars, clowns, floats kids and more kids and the usual assortment of dignitaries. See

Before, during and after there is a lot more to do in Town Center Plaza with a number of vendors, food and children activities.
 
If you are part of a club or organization including school groups and want to enter the parade it is simple and FREE. Click and fill out the Parade Entry form (see end of article for forms).
 
The Chamber is also looking for vendors who would like to set up shop and businesses who are able to provide a sponsorship. Join the fun.
