Kennedale High School district UIL Academic Champions once again

Kennedale High School has won its 5th District UIL Academic Championship in the last 6 years for the school and 44 students became qualifiers or alternates to the UIL Region II academic contest this coming weekend. {{more: continue …}}

Kennedale swamped the other schools, accumulating 748 points and more

than doubly second place FTW Benbrook at 373 points. Lake Worth finished

third with 197 points and Castleberry in fourth with 153 points.?

events (3 events did not award anything below 1^st place), 13 third

place medals out of 23 events, and 15 fourth and fifth place finishes.

Subjects included Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Writing, Computer Science, Debate, Spelling/Vocabulary, Current Issues, Social Studies, Informative Speaking, Calculator Applications, Computer Applications, Accounting, News Writing, Poetry Interpretation and One Act Play.??
