Kennedale Lady Kats Varsity jumps on Corsicana Mildred early and coasts to 11-1 win

Kennedale Lady Kats Varsity shut the door early on Corsicana Mildred, capturing an 11-1 victory on Monday night at Kennedale.

With six runs in the first three innings, the Lady Kats left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI double by Jazlyn Crowder, an RBI double by Elizabeth Schiele, an RBI double by Ciara Trotter, and during the first inning and an error in the second inning supplied the early offense for Kennedale. {{more}}

Mackenzie Bay led Kennedale Lady Kats Varsity’s offensive threat, as she got on base three times in the game. She scored two runs and had one RBI. She singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

Allie Turner put together a nice outing. Turner held Corsicana Mildred hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six.
