The organization is the Alliance for Children and works with a number of departments through Tarrant County. The Alliance advocates and uses team investigations combined with special healing services for victims and community education programs.

The Alliance has operated since 1992 and has served over 50,000 children since. It is a non-profit organization that has child-friendly centers in Arlington, Fort Worth, Hurst and Lakeside. The organization?s overall goal is to minimize the trauma of abuse so that children and families can begin to heal.

In addition to working with law enforcement agency like the Kennedale Police Department, the Alliance works with the Texas Department of Protective Services, Cook Children?s Medical Center and the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney?s Office.?
