06/06 ? Credit/Debit Card Abuse ? 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 4:15 p.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) had somehow obtained his debit card number and made several unauthorized charges, one of which was in Kennedale at a convenience store. The victim had the card in his possession and has no idea how the suspect(s) obtained his number.
06/07 ? Theft Under $100 – 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 7:52 p.m. a store employee reported that a male suspect had entered the store and left with several cases of beer that were not paid for.
06/08 ? Missing Person ? N. Dick Price Road: At 5:11 p.m. an adult female was reported as missing to police. The female?s boyfriend stated that he last saw her was six days earlier when she left the house. He hasn?t heard from her or seen her since.
06/09 ? Vehicle Burglary ? 200 block of S. New Hope Road: At 6:04 p.m. a victim reported that her vehicle was burglarized at a city park at 12:15 p.m. The victim stated that she started her car to let it cool off and left it unlocked while collecting her children. When she returned to the car several minutes later the car was off and the ignition key was missing. Also missing was a bag containing property including her cell phone and credit cards. The missing phoned was pinged to an address in Kennedale near the park but the victim did not attempt contact.
06/09 ? Vehicle Burglary ? 200 block of S. New Hope Road: At 1:08 p.m. a victim reported that her 2007 Chevrolet truck was burglarized at a city park. The victim reported that the passenger window was broken out and her purse taken from the front seat. The victim was able to describe a possible suspect.
06/10 ? Criminal Mischief $750 to $30,000 ? 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 12:30 a.m. officers responded to a fire alarm at the main concession stand at the football stadium. The building was not locked and unknown suspects had entered the building. Suspect(s) caused damage by breaking a press box window and discharging a fire extinguisher inside the concession building.
06/10 ? Death Investigation ? 4300 block of Eden Road: At 5:28 p.m. officers responded to a death investigation call. A 48 year old male was found deceased at his place of business. Death appeared to be of natural causes.
06/11 ? Medical Call ? 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue: At 4:26 a.m. officers responded to a medical call regarding an intoxicated male in a front yard. The male was violently ill and needed medical treatment. He was taken to an Arlington hospital by KFD medical personnel.
06/12 ? Public Intoxication ? 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 7:34 p.m. an officer observed a male pedestrian consuming alcohol on an unlicensed premise. On contact, the male exhibited indications of being intoxicated. The male stated that he knew it was unlawful to consume alcohol on the premises as it is licensed for sale only. The male was arrested for public intoxication. He was transported to jail for booking. During booking officers found three birth certificates for other persons in the arrestee?s possession. The suspect refused to give any information on the documents and they were seized for further investigation.
06/12 ? Aggravated Robbery (Firearm) ? 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:23 a.m. officers were dispatched to an aggravated robbery call at QT. On arrival, no victim could be located. Dispatch advised that the victim could be contacted at an apartment complex in Fort Worth. Officers went to the location and made contact. The victim reported that while he was putting air in his tires at the store, two males drove up, displayed a firearm, and demanded his wallet, cell phone, and vehicle. The suspects then left the area with both cars. Fort Worth officers arrived during this investigation and stated that they had the same type of complaint at a store on Mansfield Highway in their city. The details matched the Kennedale victim?s story but the victim was adamant that he was assaulted in Kennedale. A review of the store?s security video does not show the victim on the property at all. The car was entered in the national database as stolen and the case is still under investigation.
06/15 ? Theft $100 to $750 ? North Road: At 6:06 p.m. a victim reported that his adult brother had stolen his $150.00 lawn mower and pawned it. Due to this being an on-going issue of theft by the brother, the victim wanted to press charges.
06/16 ? Theft $2,500 to $30,000 ? 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 3:00 p.m. a victim reported that her 2007 Buick was stolen while she was away on a trip. The vehicle, valued at $8,000.00, was parked in the apartment complex parking lot.
06/16 ? Vehicle Burglary ? 200 block of S. New Hope Road: At 8:00 p.m. a victim reported that she parked her vehicle at Sonora Park for an hour. Her vehicle?s windows were left down and she placed her purse under the passenger side seat. On her return the purse and contents were missing.
06/17 ? Abandoned/Found Property ? 100 block of Creekside Court: At 1:00 pm. An officer responded to a report of a found purse. The owner?s identification was inside and she was contacted at her residence in Mansfield. The purse was stolen from her vehicle at an Arlington post office on 06/16/2016. The purse was released to the victim later.
06.18 ? Suspicious Persons ? 5200 block of S.E. Loop 820: At 6:37 p.m. an officer observed a red Ford SUV with three occupants turn into a closed business on Oakcrest Drive. The vehicle?s registration was expired and the vehicle was stopped for investigation. During the interview, one of the passenger?s was found to be in possession of a driver?s license and credit card that were not his. They were issued in the names of two different females. Neither of the items showed to be stolen but they were seized until the owners can be contacted. The vehicle and occupants were released pending further investigation.
06/19 ? Fictitious License Plate ? 5300 block of Mansfield Highway: At 5:11 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for an expired license plate. During the stop it was discovered that the license plate displayed was for another vehicle. The driver was wanted for several outstanding warrants and was arrested. The vehicle was impounded and the license plate seized as evidence.
06/19 ? Assault Bodily Injury ? 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 5:20 p.m. an officer responded to a report of an assault. The offense occurred during a soccer game. The victim, a male, was bleeding from his eye, which was swollen shut. The victim was treated and transported to the hospital by medics. The suspect, who was still present, claimed that the injury to the victim was the result of game play. He was arrested after video was obtained showing the assault as it occurred. The suspect was transported to jail for booking.
06/20 ? Hit and Run Accident ? 100 block of Swiney Hiett Road: At 8:20 p.m. an officer responded to an accident call. A vehicle had struck and damaged a city stop sign, then left the scene. Several vehicle parts were left behind including the front license plate of the suspect vehicle.
06/21 ? Hit and Run Accident ? 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 2:05 p.m. a victim reported that her vehicle was struck by another vehicle in the library parking lot. The other vehicle left the scene without leaving driver and insurance information. A witness obtained the license plate of the suspect vehicle.
06/21 ? Forgery ? 300 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:10 p.m. a victim reported that his mail was removed from a mailbox at the post office. The suspect(s) used his checking account information to write several fraudulent checks on his account.
06/22 ? Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information ? 700 block of Crestview Drive: At 11:10 a.m. a victim reported that a suspect, possibly female, used his personal information to obtain Direct TV service.
06/22 ? False Report to a Police Officer ? 200 block of Pine Meadows Drive: At 9:00 a.m. a female reported her vehicle stolen. The reporting officer observed the vehicle less than a block away from the female?s residence. It was locked and secured with no obvious force entry or damage but had run into a mailbox. The female, who appeared intoxicated, denied driving the vehicle and insisted it had been stolen. She still had the keys in her possession.
06/22 ? Animal Bite ? 700 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 6:57 p.m. a home health care worker reported that she was bitten by a dog that belonged to a neighbor of one of her patients. The animal was located and the owner ordered to quarantine the dog.
06/23 ? Possession of Child Pornography ? 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 11:03 p.m. a complainant reported that a male friend had been using her computer to access child pornography. The computer was not brought to the police department but the complainant described the photos in detail through a video statement.
06/23 ? Burglary ? 6400 block of Tealcove Drive: At 9:09 a.m. a victim reported that a storage shed for his business was broken into and a $200.00 leaf blower was stolen.
06/23 ? Theft $100 to $750 ? 4300 block of S. Eden Road: At 5:56 p.m. a victim reported that the tail gate was stolen from his Ford F-150 truck. The truck was parked at his business when the theft occurred.
06/24 ? Vehicle Burglary ? 700 block of Crestview Drive: At 6:45 a.m. a victim called to report that he had caught a juvenile male burglarizing his vehicle. The victim was able to hold the suspect until officers arrived. Several other vehicles in the area were discovered to have been burglarized by the same suspect. A case was referred to the juvenile justice center.
06/25 ? Stalking ? 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 2:55 p.m. a victim reported that her boyfriend?s ex-girlfriend is stalking her by phone and threatening to do her harm. The text messages were given to the officer.
06/25 ? Credit/Debit Card Abuse ? 6700 block of Oak Crest Drive: At 1:13 p.m. officers took a report of a stolen credit card number being used at a business in Kennedale. Contact was made with the business manager who stated that a male had presented a driver?s license and credit card as payment for used auto parts. The suspect was to return later to pick up the parts. The suspect returned but left without the parts and before officers could arrive. A license plate number was obtained by the business employee for inclusion in the offense report.
06/25 ? Theft Under $100 ? 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 11:30 p.m. an officer observed two suspects removing beer from a convenience store. The suspects were detained and the beer recovered. The store manager stated that they did not want to prosecute for the theft. The suspects were released after being given criminal trespass warnings.
