9/22 ? Abandoned/Found? Municipal Drive … At 11:20 a.m. a citizen turned in a wallet and debit card that had been left at a bank ATM. The items were placed in property for safekeeping.

9/23 ? Incident (other) Kennedale Parkway …?At 8:15 a.m. a School Resource Officer responded to an assault on a staff member by a student. The student struck the staff member in the face, causing injury. The assault occurred as the staff member attempted to prevent the student from leaving the area. Due to being under the age of legal accountability, the student was released to his foster parent.

9/23 ? Unlawful use of Criminal Instrument MB?W. Kennedale Parkway

At 10:00 a.m. an officer received a report of an illegal skimmer being placed inside a gas pump. The skimmer was removed and placed in evidence.

9/23 ? Criminal Trespass?Mansfield Cardinal Road … At 4:00 p.m. officers responded to a burglary in progress. On arrival, the resident reported that her juvenile daughter had been at home earlier when a male suspect opened the back door to the home and attempted to enter. When the suspect observed the female he immediately closed the door and left.

9/24 ? Driving While Intoxicated?Valley Lane …?At 11:16 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for erratic driving. The male suspect appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic. He was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment. The suspect was placed under arrest for transport to jail for booking. A warrant was obtained to allow a blood sample to be drawn.

9/25 ? Drugs/Narcotics?W. Kennedale Parkway …?At 3:07 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a parking violation. The male driver had an arrest warrant out of Lubbock for theft. He was placed under arrest for transport to jail. While at the jail being booked in, the male?s wallet was found to contain a small bag of cocaine in the lining. He was charged for the narcotics.

9/25 ? Missing Person (Adult)?Pennsylvania Avenue …?At 8:02 a.m. a foster parent reported his male foster child missing. The child left home on 09-24-2019 and had not returned home at report time.

9/25 ? Abandoned/Found Property?Arthur Drive …?At 8:35 a.m. a homeowner reported running over several credit and membership cards that were left in his yard. He was mowing when he found the cards.

9/25 ? Application for Mental Detention and Observation?…?At 2:50 p.m. officers responded to a report of a male trying to harm himself. The male made several references to taking his own life and was deemed to be a danger to himself or others. He was detained for transport to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental detention and evaluation.

9/25 ? Incident (Other)?S. New Hope Road …?At 6:47 p.m. an officer received a report from a property manager of missing keys. The keys fit various units and buildings on the property.

9/26 ? Forgery/Money?IH 20 …?At 1:45 p.m. an officer received a complaint of an attempt to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at a local business. A female attempted to use the bill to purchase merchandise. It was refused and the suspect left the business. The bill was placed in evidence.

9/16 ? Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle?N. Little School Road …?At 5:26 p.m. a victim reported that his 2018 Dodge Durango was struck by a silver Dodge truck driven by an unknown person. The truck struck the Durango as they were driving in the same direction on Little Road. The Durango driver thought that the truck driver might be intoxicated due to swerving in the traffic lane. As the victim attempted to pass the truck, it swerved into him. The truck continued on and turned into a subdivision.

9/27 ? Assault Family Member (Breath/Circulation)?…?At 6:42 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A female victim reported being assaulted by her live-in boyfriend. During a verbal altercation, the suspect struck the victim and choked her. The victim exhibited injuries consistent with her version of events. The suspect was placed under arrest for transport to jail. He was booked and charged with the assault.

9/27 ? Animal Bite?North Road …?At 5:07 p.m. an officer received a report of a dog bite. A female victim reported that her neighbor?s dog was running loose and bit her on the calf. The victim did have a bite wound. The animal was located and the owner informed of the quarantine requirement. Animal Control will follow up.

9/28 ? Death Investigation?Mansfield Cardinal Road …?At 10:49 p.m. an officer responded to a report of an unresponsive female. The female had been discovered unconscious and not breathing by her husband. The officer performed CPR until the paramedics arrived but the female could not be revived. Detectives were contacted to respond. The medical examiner responded to take possession of the deceased. No foul play is suspected at this time.

9/27 ? Assault Bodily Injury?Peachtree Court …?At 11:54 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. On arrival, a male and female were located in an apartment. The female stated that she and the male had been in a disagreement when the male assaulted and choked her. The female did exhibit injuries to support her account of the assault. The male, who had multiple arrest warrants issued, was placed under arrest. He was transported to jail for booking.?
