The Cats will play the winner of Mineral Wells and BurkBurnett in an area round playoff game this weekend, place and time TBA. The Mineral Wells and Burkburnett game is scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, January 25.
Tuesday night the Wildcats jumped out to an 11 point lead in the first quarter and ran the court for a 25 point spread at halftime with a score of 54-29. The Cats were never in any real trouble in this first round of playoff action.
VJ Hughes hit 31 points leading all players. Others, for Kennedale scoring, were Quardraiz Wadley 12, Brandon Conwright 10, Colton Otts 9, T.J. Davis 8, Kole Hohenberger 4, Stephone Jackson 4, Nick Autrey 2, Aaron Chavez 2, Dominique Doss 2, Darius Hammond 2 and Blake Ingram 2.
