Kennedale places 19 on All-district teams

The 2017 Kennedale LadyKats swept through district play with a 10-0 record and then on to a 18-1 overall record before losing their first playoff game in three years. {{more:READ MORE …}}
 
In district play, they never allowed a single goal while scoring 81. As a result, the LadyKats placed 19 members on the 8-4A All-District including 5 superlative awards plus Coach of the Year for Head Coach Michael Strange.
 
 
Earning superlatives were Alondra Olmos (Sr) for Co-MVP ? 8 goals 21 assist; Eryka McIntyre (So) for Offensive MVP ? 20 goals, 6 assist; Daphne Hunt (Jr) for Defensive MVP ? 10 shutouts, 2.5 shots per game; Cara Hunt (Sr) Mid-fielder MVP ? 17 goals, 9 assist; Sara Calzada (Sr) Goalkeeper Co-MVP ? 10 shutouts, 2 against in 3 years.
 
 
Earning a spot on the 1st Team were Marisa Echtle (Jr), Bailey Crowley (Jr), Megan Jakubsin (Jr), Baylee Gow (Sr) and Taylor Fox (Sr).
 
 
Second Team honors went to Libby Beck (Fr), Hannah Biles (Fr), Faith Kinser (Fr), Emmy Hamilton (Sr), Jamie Najar (Sr) and Raeley Crosley (Jr).
 
 
And, on the Honorable Mention list, were Alyssa Gordon (Jr), Emylee Pafford (Jr) and Sadie Hurst (Sr).
