Kennedale has moved in to the area round of the UIL 4A State Soccer Playoffs (see links below) and will take on the teams from Wichita Falls Hirschi High School. The games will be played at Graham HS with the LadyKats playing at 6 pm and the Wildcats following at 8 pm.?repeat bi-district champs …??
Last week both Kennedale teams played in the bi-district round of the playoffs and both took home the bi-district champion title. The LadyKats, the 8-4A Distict Co-Champions, beat the Decatur Lady Eagles 7-0 while the Wildcats, runner-ups in 8-4A, defeated the Decatur boys 4-1. This is the 8th straight bi-district title for the LadyKats and the second straight title for the Wildcats.

The Hirschi Huskies play in a three team district that includes Burkburnett and Graham. Neither Kennedale teams have played Hirschi this year.

The Hirschi boys finished the regular season at 10-7-3 and 5-1 in district play followed by Burkburnett (10-14-1, 2-4) and Graham (7-14-0, 2-4). Hirschi had a bye in the first round while Graham advance with a win over and Burkburnett lost to Stephenville 1-1.?
The Hirschi girls finished in first place in District 5-4A with a record of 9-5, 6-0 followed by Burkburnett (5-14-1, 2-4) and Graham (4-19, 1-5). Hirschi had a bye in the first round while Burkburnett lost to Brownwood 5-0 and Graham lost to Mineral Wells 4-0.

On the boys side, Kennedale won 4-1 over Decatur. Castleberry defeated Springtown 5-1 and will be playing Graham this week. Western Hills defeated Bridgeport 1-0 and will play Stephenville. Diamond Hill lost to Argyle 3-1.
