The LadyKats only loss in the first round came against Castleberry, losing on penalty kicks after finishing regulation at 1-1. Castleberry?s one loss in district was against Lake Worth 1-0.?Castleberry finishes the first round of play tonight against Benbrook who currently is in a tie with Diamond Hill for third place. The top four teams in the district are eligible for the playoffs and as it stands now there are five teams fighting for those slots.?
With a bye tonight, Kennedale begins their second round of district play Friday with a return match @ Castleberry at 6:00 p.m.
