5th year for tournament …
This is the 5th year for the Sunrise tournament which features some of the strongest teams from across the region including Lubbock, Arlington Martin, Kennedale, DeSoto, Waxahachie, El Paso?s Americas and Franklin and Midland Lee.

Play begins on Thursday and Friday in each of the eight pools at noon with rounds starting hourly through 5 p.m.
Summit, Mansfield, Legacy and Timberview will be the host sites for the Thursday and Friday pool play, with Saturday?s championship bracket to be hosted by Summit, the Gold bracket at Mansfield, Silver bracket at the Mansfield JV gym and the Bronze bracket at Legacy. A Challenge bracket will be at Legacy?s JV gym with other Flight bracket games to be held at Timberview.

Kennedale lost a hard fought match in their season opener Tuesday against Lorena, losing in four games, 25-22, 25-22, 21-25 and 25-22.
