Kats down Mineral Wells 3-0
Friday night the Kennedale Lady Kat volleyball team got their second district win in as many tries in three sets; 25-18, 25-12 and 25-13. The Kats move to 2-0 in district play with a game against Springtown scheduled for Tuesday. {{more: read more …}}
For the Lady Kats (8-22, 2-0), the wins come after an extremely trying non-district schedule that pitted Kennedale against mostly 5A and up teams. The young team has been anxious to show what they have learned and so far the results have been good.
Tuesday, however, will be a real test when Springtown comes to town. The Lady Pojos (12-7, 2-0) are ranked at #12 in the latest Texas Girls Coaches Association poll. Varsity game time is set for 6 pm at Kennedale High School.
