?Monday night the Kennedale Lady Kats outlasted Vernon Lady Lions in 5 sets, finally winning 3-2. The two plus hour game was unusual for the Lady Kats who had to go to four sets in only one game in all of district play.

Amberle Cook (Sr) had 10 digs followed by Sabrina Allen (Jr) with 8.?Kennedale will play Stephenville High School Friday night, 6:30 p.m. at Aledo High School in an Area game. ?Stephenville was a winner Monday night over Brownwood in three sets 25-23, 25-17 and 25-10.?It was Stephenville that knocked Kennedale out of the playoffs last year. ?The Lady Kats would like to return the favor this year.?
