Last night playing at Chisholm Trail High School, the #13 Kennedale Lady Kats (24-11, 9-1) did as expected and beat Springtown 58-33 in 1st round playoff action. {{more}}
Springtown (9-24, 5-3) played it close in the 1st quarter with the Kats up only 9-8 at the end. But, the 2nd quarter wrote the story for the Kats, as they outscored the Lady Pocos 21-9. Riding a 13 point lead into the second half, Kennedale continued to stack the lead in the 3rd (13-5) and 4th (15-7), wining by 25 points.
On this junior led team, {{t2:Evie Whorley: }} (Jr) had 17 points followed by 14 from Sydney Johnson (Jr) who had a big night. But, it was an all-out team effort with all the Kats scoring points.
