Local Kevin Ramey rules at Kennedale Speedway Park ASCS Lone Star Sprint Show

The ASCS Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Region Sprints rolled into Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. A large crowd was on hand to watch the races.

KSP’s promoter and former sprint car champion, Kevin Ramey, thought that he would get in on the fun. Starting from the second row, Kevin, the Print Place No. 7m, slowly worked his way to the front and passed current Lone Star Region points leader Matt Covington, No. 95, for the lead. Kevin traded slide jobs with a couple of drivers, that made for some very exciting racing, {{more}}before he went on to take the checkered flag and the win. Patrick Stasa, No. 19, was second, Matt Covington, No. 95, ended up third, Blake Hahn, No. 17, was fourth and Josh Baughman, No. 17x, was fifth. Eighteen Sprints started the 25-lap feature.
