Mary Lou Boatner (Morgan) was born in Fort Worth, TX, on August 5, 1954, the daughter of Dwight and Cleo Griffith Morgan. She passed away at the age of 61 on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at her residence in the Shady Dale Community. {{more}}
Lou had been a resident of Love County since 1990, moving here from Fort Worth. She attended Kennedale Schools in Kennedale, TX until she married Ronald Frank Boatner on June 12, 1970. A free lance artist, Lou enjoyed painting and doing crafts with her friend, Carla Razor. She also loved horses. Lou was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron, on July 10, 2014; son, Jonathan Boatner on February 7, 2008; and three brothers.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Karin Boatner of Abilene, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Dusty Counts of Marietta; sister, Shirley Dillon of Wolfe City, TX; grandson, Joey Boatner; and brother-in-law, Tommy Dillon.
