This maybe the best year for Kennedale High School sports and that is saying alot considering recent history.Tonight’s event will kick-start the year by showcasing the fall sports teams at the high school plus the state powerhouse Marching Wildcat Band. {{more: read more …}}
The Meet the Wildcat activities start at 8 pm at Wildcat Stadium on the campus of Kennedale High School.
The introductions will include the following:
- Wildcat Football team, that depending on which pre-season poll you choose, rank from #1 to #10 in the state;
- Lady Kat Volleyball who will going after their third straight district title and more,
- Marching Wildcat Band who will be trying for their 6th straight UIL State Marching Band Championship appearance;
- Wildcat/Lady Kat Cross-Country teams, the road warriors of KHS who are often under-appreciated;
- KHS Cheerleaders who are always everywhere and who are recognised for their skills and leadership.
Concessions will be available and fan gear will be for sale.
This is a free family-friendly event open to all friends and fans of Kennedale ISD sports.
The event is sponsored by the Kennedale Athletic Club.
