In an initial check with school and city officials, no major damage was reported from last night of storms. Driving around the city, the streets were littered with leaves and small branches and some small to medium size trees were laying in yards.?Kennedale High School?s softball field had two large sections of the outfield {{more}}metal fence scattered across the field. Next door, the KISD Performance Arts Center had a section of siding down over the front entrance. Likewise, Kennedale Junior High had reported some minor damage.??
Emerald Hills Cemetery had several trees and large branches down but no other damage to the grounds.?The City of Kennedale did not have any damage to city facilities but had heard of roof damage in the area.?
Oncor was out checking on power line damage and clearing away fallen brush and limbs but there was no major outage.
