The public hearing is set for September 7, 2017 at 5:30 pm at Kennedale City Hall, 405 Municipal Drive in Kennedale.
The proposed budget represents a 10% increase in tax revenue equal to $487,954 with over a third of that amount ($131,159) coming from new property that has been added to the tax roll this year. See the proposed budget with additional memos at City Proposed Budget 2017-18
A tax rate hearing will be also on the agenda. The tax rate to support the new budget is $0.802718.
